Newsletter - Short and Sweet
A few quick updates before I get back to work
Howdy, folks. I’m working on a few things at once right now, so I’ll keep this month’s newsletter brief.
Edits for book two, The Hope and the Ruin, are going well. I’m about 60% of the way through this reread and I’ve started tapping shoulders for beta readers, so my goal is to start getting it into people’s hands around the end of July / early August. I’m hoping to get feedback in by the end of October so I can spend the winter doing the last major revisions and getting on people’s lists for copyediting and cover art. Still on pace for a 2027 summer release, fingers crossed, etc.
In the meantime, I’m trying to work on my social media presence (i.e. actually have a social media presence). I’ve vacillated on the idea of an author account for over a year now, but I decided to finally bite the bullet this past weekend. You can find me on Instagram at @authorjkyleturner.
